Insects crawled across punk style garments – well not literally – in an
unusual tapestry of green and black with grey knitwear. Nature took its
place in double breasted cropped and waist length jackets, patterned
shirts and printed dresses in earth colours. The 1960s and African
natural fashion were linked together to form tribal prints with era cuts
in a variation of pink and brown, while school uniforms came back to
haunt in a combination of colours and styles. Deep sea coral and animal
skulls inspired interesting shapes in shades of orange, grey, blue and black.
Artwork and architecture eased into the feminine fit in grey, black, blue
and maroon with unique clutch bags that I could not miss. Theatrical
circus played a huge part in a collection of quirky and mind-blowing
creations; and big buttons were the main attraction as dolls clothes are
scaled up to accentuate the shape of women.
