David Koma and Bora Aksu both had a bit of competition as
polka dots and abstract puff dress shapes dominated one of
the designs at the Central Lancashire show. Unusual colour
blocking of yellow, red and blue perspex strings and squares,
along with accessories lined with black stitched zips made
the designs look very unique. The large, cream oversized jack-
ets shown in the show would also ensure you stood out
from the crowd. The Far East was channelled in a series of
white and black buttoned-up neck shirts. One was featured
in an interesting kimono-type outfit, coupled with wide
sleeves and a long, flowing skirt. There was also a nice mix of
tailored double-breasted jackets and coats, satin shirts, skirts
with cargo styled pockets and dresses with triangular flaps
and lines, which certainly added charisma to the designs.
