irstly, I’d like to say that we are very pleased with ourselves at Bite!

Now don’t think we’re being pompous or above ourselves but we

have received a lot of positive feedback about our first issue and this

has enabled us to progress fur ther and better as we travel along this

beautiful road of fashion and beauty.

So what do we have in store for you in the summer issue? First up, we have

the delightful wild and edgy Jessie J gracing the pages of our music section.

This awesome singer with a big voice has taken the music industry by storm in

a very shor t space of time and is quite considerate of others as you will see

as you read about her.

Critically acclaimed actress, Aruna Shields, star of the epic adventure film,

The Last Neanderthal

bares her soul about the pro and cons of journeying to

the top in the film industry. We interview co-founder and hairstylist, Mike

Paraliki of Stonehills Hairdressing about his career in the hairdressing industry and get all organic with Karine Jackson,

specialist colourist and hairstylist of Organic Colour Systems products.

We step into the mood with some sexy lingerie from Ayten Gasson (ooh la la!), follow some valuable tips from our favourite

fashion guru, Gok Wan on how to accessorize our glasses with our wardrobe (you’ll look amazing, darling!) and showcase

his GK by Gok Wan glasses collection, exclusive to Specsavers. Clara Breen, French jewellery designer shows us how she

uses the simplest material that we would normally discard to make awesome and memorable pieces.

British car giant, Jaguar catapults us into the future with their new concept car, the gorgeous and sensational C-X75

and we go back in time to the vintage cars that made the car industry what it is today with Classic Car Club. Get your teeth

into some succulent meat with our restaurant review and finish off with some delicious, mouth-watering desser t from

fair-trade ice-cream giants, Ben & Jerry’s.

We hope you’ll enjoy this issue as much as we have bringing it to you
