At the Bath Spa University show, dominant prints of marine sol-
diers in white, blue and mustard made a huge statement as it cap-
tured the attention of the audience. A mixture of neutral greys
and beige with splashes of orange, lilac and black stripes (the lat-
ter two being the colours most focused upon) had no trouble
brightening up the stage. Jersey greys and black with shots of
bright orange and snood style neck accessories perfectly mould-
ed the masculine fit. Also on the catwalk were peasant and gypsy
inspired patterned coats and apron infused dresses in rich pastel
and dark colours. A smart twist of masculine tailored suits in
grey and black with baby blue shirts had a beautiful touch of
femininity whilst elegant stitched knife pleats and rippling effects
in plum and beige made fantastic evening and daywear ideas.
