A little down time is always necessary after a hectic few days of working, even when you work in the glamorous fashion industry. Admittedly the average work day at a luxury magazine isn’t anything like the usual 9-5 fair but there is a remarkable amount of work that goes into producing fashion features, photo-shoots and pulling together the very hottest looks of the season. Which is why, after a few crazy but beautiful days of shooting our Summer issue in the beautiful Spain last week, the Bite team were excited to let loose and relax. And where better for us to let our hair down than the iconic Ocean Club in Marbella.
Located in Marbella’s famous marina, Ocean Club is 9,000 square metres of glamorous indulgence. Lounging around the pool was made all the more fabulous with the clubs super comfortable and extra large sun beds and the excellent waiter service meant that one of the clubs famous cocktails was never far from reach. And whilst the Club is famed for its lively parties, during the day, with DJ’s renowned for creating an ambience of summer chill and a few of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, we were enveloped in a state of absolute relaxation.
The food was, as to be expected; completely sublime. The seafood was light, fresh and beautifully flavoured and washed down with a great wine, ensuring we remained satiated for our entire visit. We’d like to give special thanks to the lovely Ana and Horatio, whose exceptional service made us feel like complete VIP’s. Lavish, stylish and indulgent, the Ocean Club Marbella is the very epitome of what today’s beach club should be and definitely the type of luxury that The Bite Magazine represents!
