The Bite Magazine had the opportunity to visit the King’s Road Gallery where a private showing of an exhibition: ‘Adrian Scicluna: Multiple Realities’ took place, together with a presentation by two designers: fashion designer Lisa Redman and jewellery designer Noa Hayon of Thea Jewels.
The models looked absolutely amazing covered in diamonds, pearls, and silk, and wore dresses that could easily be pictured on powerful, high class women, or fashion icons such as Audrey Hep-burn. Despite the masses of guests at the exhibition, we managed to grab a few moments of Lisa and Noa’s time to find out a bit more about their designs. Lisa Redman’s specialty is bridal design and special occasion dresses, which explain her love of pastel colours and material choices in creating these gorgeous, classy outfits that are easily suita-ble for weddings as well as other remarkable events. Even as a freelance textile designer, Lisa sold to clients including Calvin Klein and Betsey Johnson, before she founded Lisa Redman Ltd and set-tled her studio in Notting Hill. She takes bespoke commissions by appointment only.
The organic and elegant Noa Hayon, director of Thea Jewels who creates her own hand-crafted fine jewellery, is proud about her Italian background. There’s no doubt she’s the ‘Italian Jeweller in London’ and each jewel is ‘Made in Italy’.
The way in which she combines her pieces with diamonds and precious gems, makes her jewellery really come alive and represents something that every lady should have. Noa has a showroom in Milan and also in London, where her pieces are sold through events and by appointment only.
