Launched in 2007, Sukin is an Australian skincare company renowned for their essential oils, natural and active botanical ingredients, free from any sort of sulphates, synthetic fragrances, detergents or paraben.
I love Sukin commitment to be 100% certified carbon neutral brand, in other words a brand committed to reduce the impact their activity has on the earth, and therefore all packages are environmentally friendly and recyclable, exactly my kind of brand. One of the best seller product from Sukin is the Rose Hip Oil and, together with the Moisture Restoring Night Cream make an excellent skincare combination, the one to try out.
I never had the chance to experiment with Rose Hip Oil, and when I tried I was really impressed. 100% Certified Organic, this is a powerful anti-ageing, conditioning and skin repair oil. The essential fatty acids, Vitamin E, Beta Carotene soothed my skin leaving it full of radiance and healthier looking. It worked magic on dry patches such as scars, dry elbows, knees or feet, and somehow it takes care of the odd spot too, when applied on top. I found when using the oil, also my nails felt stronger and healthier, free from hard cuticles. A real must have oil for all seasons!
I followed the treatment with another well-known Sukin product: Moisture Restoring Night Cream: This cream has won several awards around the world, all very well-deserved! The rich, but not greasy, moisturiser works wonder on dryness and lines. The special blend of Rose Hip, Evening Primrose and Borage Oils improve skin elasticity and moisture, without feeling blotchy. Ideal for all skin types, it gives great results especially on mature or problematic skin. I found that it really helped between the season’s changes, winter to spring, when the skin needs a little bit more protection, radiance and nutrition. I was delight that a small amount of cream and just two or three drops of oil achieved good result and in a very short time too!
