LFW Day One: Corrie Nielsen Spring/Summer 2013

Corrie Nielsen this season brought her general couture-esque collection to the catwalk in the most delightful of ways. Nielsen’s fascination with Kew Gardens was the inspiration behind this collection as we saw lots of floral references within her collection. From tulip shaped dresses to the soft ruffles; it was an absolute visual delight.

The colour scheme remained soft as we saw light golds, soft blues and of course some glowing pinks. Leaf printing was also evident as we saw that upon one dress in particular,  but as always with a Nielsen show it was all about those eccentric and sublimely stunning closing dresses.  Breaths were taken aback and sighs were heard amongst those upon the front row, so to say this was a element of sheer beauty, would have been a complete understatement as a tulip shaped dress with a flowing train closed the show.

Nielsen struck again and this time she had ultimate flower power.

Which British supermodel did we see at Dominic Jones?

Have you checked out those finale dresses at Caroline Charles?
