Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013

When one walks into the Louvre, you expect to see The Mona Lisa, The Venus Di Milo and of course the odd painting by Carravagio,  but yesterday was entirely different. Instead of seeing regal paintings and magnificent statues, we saw Salvatore Ferragamo take to the runway to present his resort 2013 collection.

Overall the collection featured a very neutral colour scheme, it was demur yet had this wonderful touch of tenacious glamour. Expect to see lots of fringing, thigh high boots and of course those killer accessories. The collection showcased some of  the most adoring day-wear that we have seen this season, which in turn, was an excellent contrast for the dark and military-esque style that we had seen for the autumn/winter season.
