bite films C hristopher Nolan is trying to prevent WorldWar III in his latest action thriller film Tenet .The filmmaker, who wrote and directed the movie, introduces us to a world with time travel and rebirth. The trailer makes an interesting teaser for the movie; however, it does not disclose a lot of information in terms of the plot and characters.What we do know is Nolan will be serving up some action and storytelling that is going to be rather intriguing and a bit mind blogging. Tenet is the director’s biggest budget movie to date given by Warner Brothers Studio, especially, keeping in mind, the orig- inal title and unknown plot that could potentially make it difficult to attract the audience. However, Nolan has earned his respect with many great award-winning movies such as The Dark Knight and The Prestige (2008), Inception (2010), and Dunkirk (2017), and this time audiences have a lot of interest in original Hollywood film making. Also, it is hard not to mention the original score written by Ludwig Göransson who won an Academy Award for Best Original Music Score for Black Panther. There are no spoilers, yet we can tell that time is going to be the most essential element in protecting and stopping the world from a third world war. “To do what I do I need to know the threat that I face,” says John David Washing- ton’s character in the film, and yes, we would love to know who he is up against as the main protagonist but all will be revealed soon.Washington is known for his breakthrough role in Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman (2018), which earned him Best Actor nominations at the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards. There are indeed more questions than answers when it comes to Tenet, but with a team of creatives such as Nolan, Görans- son, and the talented cast we can anticipate this to be one of the best movies of the year. We, the viewers should proba- bly take the advice from the teaser which says, “Don’t try to understand it - feel it” and wait for the scheduled release date and hope to be able to see in cinemas.
