Guests will be dazzled by the vibrant, new culinary offering by Chef Lai Min Wei, freshly elevated décor and lively atmosphere. A stylish haven of memorable dishes and innovative cocktails, the restaurant is the place to be for contem- porary Chinese cuisine in a dynamic, one-of-a-kind location. Chef Wei, a Malaysian-born chef spent nine years with the global Hakkasan franchise in London, Dubai, and Doha while newly appointed General Manager David Vindis will apply his wealth of experience and industry knowledge from his previous roles at Marina Social working closely with Jason Atherton as well as Zuma, Le Cirque, and Flair No.5. The two will work together to deliver unforgettable dining experiences with uniquely rooted, yet modern, food and mixology in a refined and more contem- porary setting. Under the direction of Jumeirah Group’s Chef Culinary Officer Michael Ellis, guests will be offered the same standard of culi- nary excellence now complemented by an amplified atmosphere, reflective of the buzz at eateries of the present-day Far East. The new menu focuses on using the finest ingredients to create time- less, yet innovative, signature dishes all prepared with considera- tion for tradition and age-old techniques. “Jumeirah Mina A’Salam is a well-known dining destination and Zheng He’s is integral to this. A longstanding favourite on the Dubai restaurant scene, guests visiting Zheng He’s will be im- pressed by Chef Wei’s bold approach paired with the restaurant’s refreshed vibe, exceptional service, and new design elements.” The new offering features the likes of Blue Lobster Dumplings with caviar and lemongrass sauce; Boston Lobster in Tomato Chili Broth with crispy rice; and Zheng He’s iconic Peking Duck. Vegetarians need not worry as their preferences have been ca- tered for with exotic dishes bursting with bold flavours including Crispy Bean Curd Salad and Wok Fried Udon Noodles with the Chef Wei’s special homemade XO sauce. For a quick weekday lunch, the new tick-box menu will allow diners to sample everything from dim sum and flavourful soups to wok-fried noodles and the chef ’s recommendations such as Spicy Prawn with Lemongrass Chilli Sauce.
