LONDON bite catwalk A standout at London FashionWeek for SS19 was the number of collaborative catwalks or ‘showcases’ we attended.With an average of three to five design- ers showing per ‘collective’ catwalk it was an amazing opportunity to see the work of multiple up-and-coming designers, many of whom are just starting out in their professional careers. Shows like these allow potential sponsors to observe the top picks of the future of fashion and many organisations offer mentorship from industry professionals and PR teams in the run up to the shows and continued support post-fashion week. From the on-schedule ON/OFF Presents… which was the closing show of London Fashion Week to the off-schedule ‘Ones to Watch’ presented by Fashion Scout, we picked our favourite showcases from the weekend.
