he recent Easter weekend may have lightened the mood in the UK a bit with thoughts of chocolate eggs or the excitement of an Easter egg hunt occupying our minds, but the gloom of Brexit still hangs over our heads like a huge migraine. The further extension of this fiasco has put a few people on edge, businesses are wondering how the final outcome is going to affect their companies, while others just want to forget about the whole thing and live their lives the best they can. But sometimes, other matters are more important such as the bravery of singer Avril Lavigne who suffered from Lyme disease and was finally able to reveal this in her single ‘Head Over Water’ which is also the name of her album. We also feature rapper Post Malone who, upon his arrival on the music scene a few years ago, was questioned about his representation and labelled a ‘culture vulture’ by the media, due to his appearance of having gold teeth and braids. We bring you the culinary delights of the recently opened VIVI Restaurant at Centrepoint whose cuisine is centred on ‘60s inspired dishes. You will be blown away by the décor of this sophisticated place. Over in south-west London, we enjoy the British cuisine of The Perky Nel which had a few surprises and delicious dishes up their sleeves. And the amazing Grand Trunk Road restaurant in South Woodford which truly took us on a culinary journey of flavours to be remembered for a long time. The Spiders battle it out with the launch of Ferrari’s high performing 488 Pista Spider deemed their technically advanced model yet while McLaren challenge those ‘who see more’ with their most accomplished convertible supercar, the 720S Spider. We also keep track of the accomplishments that Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Galactic are making with their fourth successful powered flight of the VSS Unity and first human spaceflight to be launched on American soil since the final Space Shuttle mission in 2011.
