Smashbox Studio has seen his door reopening after a long year of multimillion-dollar renovation with the collaboration of partner International Color Brands (ICB), which is a family of vertically integrated creative production and software companies providing solutions for photography, advertising, retail, media and production companies worldwide.
The studio, which is based in LA, was the birth place of world renowned make-up brand Smashbox where music, editorial shoots, campaigns, brand visual projects and creative events took place. The renewed studio, which combines the expertise of those two amazing brands was designed by architectural firm Gensler, and it covers an amazing 25,000-square foot space with state of the art studio technology to host from VIP events to creative work in the photography, video and creative space with the ultimate, unparalleled client service including features such as additional power, full seismic upgrades, updated soundstages, Gb internet and Gb wireless networks throughout, custom designed makeup tables, modern AV systems, outdoor patios, a world-class café, and beautiful interior and exteriors deco.
This remarkable innovation has finally taking Smashbox Cosmetics back to their origins with a huge explosive new start, back to where all begun in their original place of birth. It was in here that Smashbox Studio was created by brother Dean and Davis Factor, great-grandsons of make-up artist legend Max Factor. They envision the need for a brand capable to meet the demands of professional photo-shooting and at the same time be able to be approachable to all make-up lovers and the rest of the consumer world. With this in mind they founded Smashbox Cosmetics in 1996, and today they enjoy their success worldwide, making Smashbox Cosmetics a new product innovator and a real icon and leading trend-setting in the cosmetic and make-up world.
