As the old adage goes, ‘Diamonds are a girls best friend.’ So imagine my delight when Tresor Paris invited me to the opening of their new Hatton Garden store.

Whilst the area has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons of late, Hatton Garden remains the ultimate destination for diamonds and Tresor Paris’s latest store is guaranteed to delight your inner magpie. Best known for their timeless jewellery, Tresor Paris is a rare brand in that their collections span both classic and contemporary designs, making the new store the perfect destination for splurging on diamonds and precious stones.

The grand launch was held this Tuesday with the brand throwing a party that was as unique as their jewellery. Celebrities descended to the city where Baywatch’s finest, David Hasselhoff had the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially opening Tresor Paris to the public. Frederica Mossone Evans set the melodious tone for the evening as she played the harp whilst guests were treated to cocktails, canapés and in a surprisingly delicious twist, Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The guest list was brim with London’s finest, including Tiffany Watson, Lady Victoria Hervey, Olivia Cox and accompanying David Hasselhoff, the lovely Hayley Roberts.

But of course the true stars of the night were the stunning pieces of jewellery. The store is home to the Tresor Paris’s ‘7’ collection, named for their flagship store at 7 Greville Street. Truly special, the collection consists of a group of incredible large one-off diamonds and stones. Housed in 7 pods in the storefront window, these impressive pieces immediately draw the eye as an Aladdin’s cave of jewels unfold behind the glass. The pieces are joined by the ‘240’ collection of stunning engagement rings as well as the luxurious ‘12’ collection, which includes a sparkling tennis bracelet that held my gaze for quite some time. It is of course true what they say, diamonds really are a girls best friend and a Tresor Paris diamond, well that might just be the only kind you need.

The store is now open to members of the public wanting to buy beautiful diamonds and precious stones, although there are select crystal pieces on offer. Appointments are available to those wanting to make discreet, private purchases.
