Prestigious Central London club Jalouse opened its doors to more than just clubbers last month. The high-end venue, well known for its impressive party scene, saw the dance floor turned into a catwalk for designer Gabriella Gambetta.
Spectators were entertained before the show with singing and dancing acts, but these were not to outshine the main attraction. As soon as the music kicked in everyone knew that this show was about one thing, attitude.
Wide-eyed models strutted through the club wearing black, black and more black. If anyone can make biker look chic it’s Gambetta. Doll-inspired make-up softened the strong designs and highlighted the femininity within the gothic collection. The combination of leather, lace, feathers and nude mesh make these outfits fierce.
Even though the designer’s rocker personality oozes from the range, don’t be fooled. Gambetta’s premium designs aren’t just to be worn by rock chicks- fashion-forward ladies looking to stand out from the crowd will be lusting after her pieces. The garments are unique to other introductions to the capital’s catwalk and will be drawing a lot of attention from fashionistas across London.
The collection features dresses, bodies, playsuits and feather and leather trousers and is available to view at www.gabriellagambetta.wix.com.
